These Terms & Conditions govern the Just About Anything Shop & Win Competition.
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Just About Anything (“the Promoter”). The competition is administered through www.justaboutanything.co.za.
2. Competition Period
The competition opens at 00:00 on 1 November 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 30 November 2026. Only qualifying website orders successfully placed during this period will be considered for entry.
3. Eligibility
The competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older. Owners, employees and persons directly involved in administering the competition, as well as their immediate family members, may not enter.
4. How to Enter
No separate competition form is required. Customers automatically receive one provisional entry for every full R500 of qualifying spend in an eligible website order.
Examples: R500 = 1 entry; R1,000 = 2 entries; R1,500 = 3 entries; R2,000 = 4 entries. Entry calculations are rounded down to the nearest complete R500.
There is no maximum number of entries an eligible customer may earn during the Competition Period.
5. Multiple Purchases
Customers may earn additional entries by placing additional qualifying website orders during the Competition Period. Each order is calculated separately. Amounts below the next full R500 threshold on one order are not carried forward or combined with another order.
6. Qualifying Purchases
Only purchases completed through www.justaboutanything.co.za qualify. Qualifying spend is based on merchandise purchased after discounts and promotional reductions.
Delivery and courier charges do not count toward the R500 qualifying spend.
Direct sales, WhatsApp orders, telephone orders, social-media orders, manually invoiced sales and wholesale purchases do not qualify.
7. Provisional Entries
Entries generated during November remain provisional until final validation. The Promoter may adjust or remove an entry before the draw if the associated order is subsequently cancelled, refunded, reversed, returned or otherwise found to be invalid.
8. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Unpaid, cancelled, fraudulent, reversed or fully refunded orders will not qualify for the final draw.
Where part of an order is returned, cancelled or refunded before final validation, the qualifying value of the order and corresponding number of entries will be recalculated.
Example: an order with R2,000 qualifying spend initially earns 4 provisional entries. If R600 is returned before validation, the final qualifying spend becomes R1,400 and the order will retain 2 valid entries.
9. Entry Validation Period
Final entry validation will take place from 8 January 2027 to 14 January 2027. During this period, qualifying orders will be reviewed for cancellations, payment reversals, returns, refunds and invalid transactions.
Only validated entries will be included in the final draw pool.
10. Prize
There will be one winner. The winner will receive a Just About Anything website shopping voucher equal to the final qualifying value of the order associated with the winning entry, subject to a maximum prize value of R1,500.
Examples: a R650 qualifying order would generate a R650 voucher if selected; a R1,400 qualifying order would generate a R1,400 voucher; a R2,000 qualifying order would generate the maximum R1,500 voucher.
Purchases from different orders are not added together when calculating the prize value.
11. Voucher Conditions
The prize is a Just About Anything shopping voucher and may be redeemed against merchandise purchased through www.justaboutanything.co.za.
The voucher applies to merchandise purchases only. Delivery and courier charges are excluded.
The voucher cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. If a purchase exceeds the voucher value, the winner must pay the difference.
12. Competition Draw
The competition draw will take place on 18 January 2027.
Each validated entry will be assigned a unique entry number. A randomised digital selection tool will be used to select one winning entry from the final validated entry pool.
Customers with multiple valid entries will have each valid entry included separately in the draw.
13. Winner Notification and Verification
The selected winner will be contacted using the telephone number and/or email address supplied with the website order linked to the winning entry.
The Promoter may request reasonable information necessary to confirm the winner’s identity and eligibility. Customers are responsible for ensuring the contact information supplied with their order is accurate.
14. Winner Announcement
The Promoter may announce that a winner has been selected through its website and/or official social-media channels.
The winner will not be required to provide a photograph, testimonial or participate in promotional activity as a condition of receiving the prize. Any such participation will be voluntary.
15. Returns After the Draw
Returns, refunds, repairs or replacements requested after the competition draw will continue to be handled in accordance with the normal Just About Anything returns policy and applicable South African consumer law.
A legitimate exercise of a customer’s statutory consumer rights after the winner has been validly determined will not automatically cancel or reduce the prize already awarded.
16. Invalid or Fraudulent Entries
The Promoter may remove an entry before the draw where there is reasonable evidence that it resulted from fraud, manipulation, an unauthorised payment reversal, a false transaction or deliberate abuse of the competition.
17. Personal Information
Personal information already supplied when placing an order may be processed for purposes reasonably necessary to administer the competition, validate entries, conduct the draw, contact the winner and issue the prize.
Participation in the competition does not automatically enrol a customer into unrelated marketing communications. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable South African data-protection law and the Just About Anything Privacy Policy.
18. Technical Problems
The Promoter is not responsible for internet outages, website interruptions, payment-provider failures or other circumstances outside its reasonable control that prevent an order from being successfully completed before the Competition Period closes.
19. Changes to the Competition
If circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter make it necessary to amend, suspend or cancel the competition, Just About Anything may do so subject to applicable law. Any material change affecting participants will be communicated through the website and/or official social-media channels.
20. Instagram and Social Media
This competition is administered by Just About Anything. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta. Social-media platforms are used only to advertise the competition. Entry takes place through qualifying purchases on the Just About Anything website.
21. Acceptance of Rules
Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Rules and Terms & Conditions. These terms will remain available on the Just About Anything website during the competition and through completion of the draw process.
